ASIC Email Scam Warning

A new email scam has been doing the rounds this week, with scammers pretending to be from ASIC contacting customers asking them to pay fees and give personal information to renew their business or company name.

These emails often have a link that provides an invoice with fake payment details or infects your computer with malware if you click the link.

Please note that you may receive genuine Business Name renewal emails directly from ASIC. It is important to act on these renewals or your Business Name will be cancelled. Genuine ASIC emails always contain specific information regarding your registered Business Name. If you are uncertain about any correspondence you receive, please contact Anne Wright at The Field Group before clicking on any links.

If The Field Group acts as your ASIC Agent all of your ASIC communication will come via our office. If you are uncertain whether we have been appointed the Agent for all of your registrations please contact Anne Wright at The Field Group.
